From Goodreads:
In the future, only one rule will matter:

Don’t. Ever. Peek.

Seventeen-year-old Ari Alexander just broke that rule and saw the last person she expected hovering above her bed — arrogant Jackson Locke, the most popular boy in her school. She expects instant execution or some kind of freak alien punishment, but instead, Jackson issues a challenge: help him, or everyone on Earth will die.

Ari knows she should report him, but everything about Jackson makes her question what she’s been taught about his kind. And against her instincts, she’s falling for him. But Ari isn’t just any girl, and Jackson wants more than her attention. She’s a military legacy who’s been trained by her father and exposed to war strategies and societal information no one can know — especially an alien spy, like Jackson. Giving Jackson the information he needs will betray her father and her country, but keeping silent will start a war.

My Review:
Oh this book! First, you see this beautiful cover that gets you intrigued. Than you read the synopsis and you see this line "Don't. Ever. Peek." and you're like super, super excited to read this book, and than you realize there are aliens in it and before you know it, you're hyper to read it! At least that's how I felt.

Well this book is everything I expected and even more!
It is the year 2140, and after the WWIV, the aliens, or The Ancients, have come to help humans to re-build their world, but in return, every night humans must put their patch on their eyes and an Ancient comes to their bedroom to do The Taking. Humans are not allowed to see them, but one night Ari can't find her patch, and during the Taking she accidently sees her classmate Jackson hoovering above her. She's detirmenated to find the awnsers, but what she finds out is that Jackson needs her help to prevent the war that is building.

The characters were very enjoyable. I liked Ari, she's been a kickass through whole book. She chooses to trust Jackson before her family because she thinks what they're doing is wrong. I also liked Jackson. He's mysterious and very secretive. We don't know much about him but he still manages to get into our hearts. Law and Gretchen, Ari's best friends are good supporting characters. They're with her in the times she needs them most.

The plot is just amazing. I love the world Melissa West created. The storyline is very unique and creative. For her debut novel she did a really great job on everything.

All in all, Gravity is very interesting read. Fast paced with a lot of action and a bit of romance. I loved it and I can't wait to see how Ari's story continues!
