A prehistoric fantasy—with allusions to Pride and Prejudice.

Hunting, gathering, and keeping his family safe—that’s the life seventeen-year-old Kol knows. Then bold, enigmatic Mya arrives from the south with her family, and Kol is captivated. He wants her to like and trust him, but any hopes of impressing her are ruined when he makes a careless—and nearly grave—mistake. However, there’s something more to Mya’s cool disdain…a history wrought with loss that comes to light when another clan arrives. With them is Lo, an enemy from Mya’s past who Mya swears has ulterior motives.

As Kol gets to know Lo, tensions between Mya and Lo escalate until violence erupts. Faced with shattering losses, Kol is forced to question every person he’s trusted. One thing is for sure: this was a war that Mya or Lo—Kol doesn’t know which—had been planning all along.

I love historical fiction books, so can you imagine my excitement when I found out about Ivory and Bone. It is a prehestoric fiction set in Stone Age. I'm sure I haven't come across anything like this book yet, so yeah. For a certain time, I was on an excitement overload. And then I read the book. I can't say it was everything I expected and hoped for, but in the end, it was satisfying. There is one thing though that Eshbaugh managed to do that no author did before her. She wrote a book in second person and I didn't DNF it. Usually, alone the thought of a book wrote in 2nd POV makes me run away, but it actually worked pretty well here. It's hard to explain, but it wasn't your normal 2nd POV. The story is told from the first POV - Kol tell's the story, but he is telling it to Mya. So everytime he goes "I" he's talking about himself, and when he says "you" he is talking about Mya. It was different, but I liked it.

There were no girls Kol's age in his tribe, so when they get three visitors and two of them are girls the right age from the neighboring tribe, the excitement is running high. Kol immediately notices Mya, but the problem with her is that she doesn't really reciprocates those feeling back. She is very rude and cold towards Kol, and once again Kol finds himself desperate to find a wife. He is the oldest son of the High Elder of their tribe and he is responsible for the future of their tribe and family name. But soon they get another visitors from their other neighboring tribe. Kol seems to get much better along with Lo than Mya, but soon all kinds of past fights and disagreements resurface and it all ends with a war.

Writing a historical fiction is always a hard task and the author did a great job with writing a believable prehistoric novel while still making it appealing to the readers. She did quite a great job with showing readers the prehistoric ways of Stone Age. She described mammoths hunting, gathering the supplies and making their own clothes very well. But even though those things were great, I was quite bored throughout the book. I seemed to breeze through the book, but I was also very bored. Now I'm not sure why I was bored, but my guess is because there was not much action. Yes, there was hunting and fights and all those action things, but there were also long paragraphs about lots of unnecessary things and not much dialogue making the book come off as somewhat boring.

I loved Kol. He was so sweet and considerate and brave. He easily became one of my favorite lead male characters. With Mya it was a different story. I thought she was very rude and ungrateful at the beginning and even though I knew there was probably a reason for her acting that way, I never could like her as much as I was supposed to. The romance between them is a slow burning kind of romance and I have to say I was so scared it would be an insta-romance with love-triangle, but I am so glad it wasn't neither of those things.

In most of the books these days, the romance plays the main role, but in the Ivory and Bone, it was present, but it didn't steal the spotlight from other important things. I am really glad the focus was more on tribal history and tribal relations inside the tribe as well as outside the tribe. I loved learning about how they formed relationships with other tribes, and I loved learning the value of family in this book. This aspect of the book was definitely done well.

If there weren't boring parts in Ivory and Bone, I am sure I would have given it much higher rating, but this way, when I compare it to the other books, I realize I like them better and I would choose to reread them before Ivory and Bone. But that doesn't really matter much, I am still very much excited to read the next book!

Hadley St. Clair's life changed the day she came home to a front door covered in slips of paper, each of them revealing the ugly truth about her father. Now as her family falls apart in the wake of his year-long affair, Hadley wants everyone-her dad most of all-to leave her alone.

Then she meets Sam Bennett, a cute new boy who inexplicably "feels like home" to Hadley. Hadley and Sam's connection is undeniable, but Sam has a secret about his family that could ruin everything.

Funny and passionate, Suffer Love is a story about first love, family dysfunction, and the fickle hand of fate.

I think I have read the description of Suffer Love when I first found out about the book and then totally forgot what the book was about. I was in a mood to read a cute, fluffy romance book and I have no idea why Suffer Love sounded like a cute romance to me. See what I did there? Suffer -> cute. Well, don't ask. I have no idea what was going on in my head and why Suffer sounded like it could be cute. It must be the Love part of the name that has blinded me. All I saw was LOVE, LOVE, LOVE and boy did I love the book. I definitely did not expect this book to be so powerful and realistic. In a way, it was a cute book with a cute romance, but it was also so much more!

After Hadley's dad cheated on her mom, nothing in her home was the same. The mood in the house was almost unbearable for Hadley and her way to deal with it was to be with a different guy every week. When this new guy comes to school and she finds out that he is in a similar situation, he becomes the only person who fully understands her. Sam's mother cheated on his father, but unlike Hadley's family who is trying to work it out, Sam's father decided to leave and moved to another state. While Sam and Hadley get closer to each other, at the same time Sam tries to distance himself from Hadley because he is keeping a secret that can hurt a lot of people including her.

Suffer Love is a book full of betrayal, secrets, hurt, heartbreak, but also forgiveness and love. Maybe before I started reading this book I wanted something cute and fluffy, but as soon as I started reading, I knew I have made the right choice in choosing this one. It was so powerful in a way we often oversee. Parents part ways all the time. Parents cheat a lot too. Still we rarely reflect on how that may affect the children. We never think about how they fell in the moment when they find out. How they feel when their whole world is crushed into pieces. How they go from happy family to who-knows-what in a matter of seconds. There can be hundreds of outcomes, but every single one of them is hard in a different way.

I know both Sam and Hadley will always have a special place in my heart. They've both been through so many hard things and when they finally find happiness in each other it is still not easy. The book is written in dual POV, so we get to know both of them pretty well. I don't usually like dual POV's, but in this case, it was perfect. We get 'in' on the big secret quite early in the book, but it never decreases the amount of suspense of what will happen when the others find out. The pacing in the book was done perfectly. Sam and Hadley's relationship progressed just how I want all romances to happen, which unfortunately doesn't happen a lot. So when I find a romance like this, I love it and I gush about it. It was SO GOOD GUYS!

Books that are able to bring out different emotions out of us and leave us excited are my favorite kinds of books. Actually, I think they are everyone favorite books. If you liked Emmy & Oliver by Robin Benway or Rites of Passage by Joy N.
When fragile, sixteen-year-old Hope Walton loses her mom to an earthquake overseas, her secluded world crumbles. Agreeing to spend the summer in Scotland, Hope discovers that her mother was more than a brilliant academic, but also a member of a secret society of time travelers. Trapped in the twelfth century in the age of Eleanor of Aquitaine, Hope has seventy-two hours to rescue her mother and get back to their own time. Along the way, her path collides with that of a mysterious boy who could be vital to her mission . . . or the key to Hope’s undoing.

Into the Dim is one of those books that left me absolutely confused and I had no idea at first if I liked the book or if it was just another book in the sea of other books that I will forget about in a month. Writing the review usually helps me sort out my thoughts. It was the same with this one. There were a few elements that I liked, but there were like waaaay more ones that I didn't like. Time travel books are usually complex and to allow some slips in the plot you'd need a kick-ass main character, preferably great support characters and swoon-worthy romance if there is one. My main problems in this book were the things that should have been amazing. And then some more. I won't even mention that this book was supposed to be the Outlander for teens. I won't even go there.

After Hope's mother goes missing and is presumed dead, she gets an invitation to spend a summer with her aunt in Scotland, which isn't even questionable since her father decided to travel the world with his new girlfriend. When Hope finally got to Scotland, she meets a guy who is taking pictures of her, her aunt is not even home and everything seams to be so secretive, but she can't figure out what everyone is secretive about. Finally, she accidently stumbles into a room she wasn't supposed to find and everyone else decides to let her in on a secret. Her family are time travelers, have been for generations. The interesting thing is, her mom is not actually dead. She is stuck somewhere in twelfth-century London and Hope is the only one who can help save her, but the thing is, she only has a week to prepare for such a hard trip and overcoming all of her phobias might not be an easy task.

I have to say, this book is 428 pages long, but I read it in fairly short time. I kept turning the pages wanting to know what happens next. No actually, scratch that. I kept turning the pages wanting something exciting to finally happen. And while I did enjoy the plot to some extent, I couldn't help but be irritated with soooo many things. Right off the bat, I was annoyed with all of the Scottish talk/accent. What's up with that? I felt like in some sentences I needed a dictionary to be able to fully understand what was written. We could have definitely gone without that. I'm not even sure if people talk that way in Scottland, do you, Scottish people?

I already mentioned this earlier, but I really disliked our main character Hope. She was this girl on whom everything depended. She knew everything about everything, she had photographic memory, she knew all archaic languages (should I even try to question the possibility of this?!?) and she was socially awkward. Of course, she was. Can you try to guess what else she was? Homeschooled, you ask? Bingo! Hope is such a stereotypical I am so bad at everything even though I am really smart and I don't know I'm beautiful kinda girl. It's starting to get really annoying to have every second character be like this. Where did the confidence go? She also had all those phobias that could have made things a little better if the author went a bit deeper into that subject. Unfortunately, she didn't, so it just made things worse because it became just one of the many things that were left unexplored and flat. Hope is definitely fighting for the first place in the-most-irritating-characters-ever category along with Kora from Beyond the Red.

I won't say much about romance, mostly because I didn't like it at all. I didn't get it at all. I didn't feel it at all. It was like when someone tries to pair you up with a guy you don't like and he doesn't like you back, but you still have to be together. No connection whatsoever. And of course, it had to have an insta-romance feel to it. Just giving you a heads up.

The plot was actually the only thing that I liked to some extent, although it could have been much better. Everything was so simplified and even though it's a YA book, I think the teens are much more than capable to understand more complex explanations. 12th century London was a bit disappointing, though. I don't think a normal person back that could have gotten to the queen that easily. It was all done a little bit naively and without checking first if a situation like that would be possible in real life. I still enjoyed some parts.

I hate it when finally we get a time-travel book and then it turns to not be that good. I am sorry to say, but I won't be recommending this one to anyone else. But if you're just like me, you probably won't trust anything anyone says about a book you really want to read, then go ahead and read it. You may even like it more than I did. But do let me know if you did.

May 24th 2016 by G.P. Putnam's Sons Books for Young Readers

San Francisco, 1906: Fifteen-year-old Mercy Wong is determined to break from the poverty in Chinatown, and an education at St. Clare’s School for Girls is her best hope. Although St. Clare’s is off-limits to all but the wealthiest white girls, Mercy gains admittance through a mix of cunning and a little bribery, only to discover that getting in was the easiest part. Not to be undone by a bunch of spoiled heiresses, Mercy stands strong—until disaster strikes.

On April 18, an historic earthquake rocks San Francisco, destroying Mercy’s home and school. With martial law in effect, she is forced to wait with her classmates for their families in a temporary park encampment. Mercy can't sit by while they wait for the Army to bring help. Fires might rage, and the city may be in shambles, yet Mercy still has the 'bossy' cheeks that mark her as someone who gets things done. But what can one teenaged girl do to heal so many suffering in her broken city?
May 31st 2016 by HarperTeen

Not all those who wander are lost, but Aubree Sadler most definitely is on this novel’s whirlwind trip through Europe.

Aubree can’t think of a better place to be than in perfectly boring Ohio, and she’s ready for a relaxing summer. But when her older sister, Elizabeth, gets into real trouble, Aubree is talked into taking over Elizabeth’s summer job, leading a group of senior citizens on a bus tour through Europe.

Aubree doesn’t even make it to the first stop in Amsterdam before their perfect plan begins unraveling, leaving her with no phone, no carefully prepared binder full of helpful facts, and an unexpected guest: the tour company owner’s son, Sam. Considering she’s pretending to be Elizabeth, she absolutely shouldn’t fall for him, but she can’t help it, especially with the most romantic European cities as the backdrop for their love story.

But her relationship with Sam is threatening to ruin her relationship with her sister, and she feels like she’s letting both of them down. Aubree knows this trip may show her who she really is—she just hopes she likes where she ends up.

In the kingdom of Lovero, nine rival Families of assassins lawfully kill people for a price. As a highly skilled member of one of these powerful clans, seventeen-year-old Lea Saldana has always trusted in the strength of her Family. Until she awakens to find them murdered and her home in flames. The Da Vias, the Saldanas’ biggest enemy, must be responsible—and Lea should have seen it coming. But her secret relationship with the Da Vias’ son, Val, has clouded her otherwise killer instinct—and given the Da Vias more reason than ever to take her Family down.

Racked with guilt and shattered over Val’s probable betrayal, Lea sets out to even the score, with her heart set on retaliation and only one thought clear in her mind: make the Da Vias pay.

With shades of The Godfather and Romeo and Juliet, this richly imagined fantasy from debut author Sarah Ahiers is a story of love, lies, and the ultimate vengeance.

When I read the description of Assassin's Heart I immediately knew that I just have to read this one. The plot sounded so interesting and I just couldn't help myself, so I went ahead and downloaded it from Edelweiss. The sole premise: "With shades of The Godfather and Romeo and Juliet", told me I can't skip on this one. I really love The Godfather theme. Anything that relates to mafia intrigues me, and I always find books like that interesting because there is not much of them. Add to it the forbidden romance of Romeo & Julia - which is my favorite kind of romance - and you not only have me interested, you have me adding this book at the top of my TBR because I know I have to read it right away. And we shouldn't forget the whole assassinations on which the book is based. WIN!

Lea, short for Oleander, is a clipper - assassin in a modern world. She is a member of the most influential Family which ranks #1 out of 9 clipper families. They clip in the city of Ravenna, a territory which they share with their rival Family ranked #2, Da Vias. For Lea, the rivalry is not that important, as she is seeing Da Vias son Val. But still, Family comes before family. When one night she wakes up in the middle of night to find out that their home has been discovered and that they are under the attack, she tries to save the members of her Family that are still alive, but with no success. At last, she is the only live Saldana and she only has one task before her. To get revenge and kill all the Da Vias.

The author - Sarah Ahiers - did a fantastic job with world building. It is amazing how smoothly she incorporated the setting, history, religion and the little facts of the world together. The setting and the whole kingdom of Lovero reminded me of Italy so much. In my mind, I saw Yvain as Venice and Ravenna as maybe Florence or Milan. Everything was described in so many details that I wished I could live there, minus the whole clippers thing. Religion played a big role in Assassin's Heart. Clipping is done to honor the Goddess of Ravenna who grants the killed people a new life and protects the city of evil things that lurk outside the city walls. I know that probably some people will have a problem with justifying killing like a good deed, but I just look at it as a way it's done there - like our world doesn't exist.

[This paragraph contains some mild spoilers.] I loved Lea as our protagonist. She was a strong character and even if her whole world has just been shattered, she found a way to cope with it all - revenge. That was the only thing on her mind. How to survive and kill all the Da Vias. I mean, her boyfriend, assumably betrayed her to kill her and her family. She was alone with no one to turn to until she met Les, our real love interest. Even though it may seem like there is a love triangle in this book, there isn't one. Val was out of the game as soon as the Saldanas were killed. I am probably the only person who will think this, but I really hoped things with Val would turn out differently and Lea will be able to patch things up with him, but yeah. The author went in totally another direction, which I did like in its own way, I just think I would prefer the one I planned out in my own head. Les was sweet and sometimes clumsy, but he is still very dear to me.

Assassin's Heart is so far my favorite read of 2016. I love it when my fantasy books have fast pace from start to finish and there are no slow beginning or slow middle parts. In Assassin's Heart we have fast pace throughout the whole book. Some people were afraid that this book will be similar to Throne of Glass, and while I am happy it isn't, I am sure you will probably enjoy this one if you enjoyed Throne of Glass.

Lorelai Diederich, crown princess and fugitive at large, has one mission: kill the wicked queen who took both the Ravenspire throne and the life of her father. To do that, Lorelai needs to use the one weapon she and Queen Irina have in common—magic. She’ll have to be stronger, faster, and more powerful than Irina, the most dangerous sorceress Ravenspire has ever seen.

In the neighboring kingdom of Eldr, when Prince Kol’s father and older brother are killed by an invading army of magic-wielding ogres, the second-born prince is suddenly given the responsibility of saving his kingdom. To do that, Kol needs magic—and the only way to get it is to make a deal with the queen of Ravenspire, promise to become her personal huntsman…and bring her Lorelai’s heart.

But Lorelai is nothing like Kol expected—beautiful, fierce, and unstoppable—and despite dark magic, Lorelai is drawn in by the passionate and troubled king. Fighting to stay one step ahead of the dragon huntsman—who she likes far more than she should—Lorelai does everything in her power to ruin the wicked queen. But Irina isn’t going down without a fight, and her final move may cost the princess the one thing she still has left to lose.

Wow! I can't believe I've had such a hard time reading The Shadow Queen. It took me nearly three weeks to finish it - and that's quite a long time. This book had so much potential, but all that comes to my mind when I think about it is - boring & dull. The Shadow Queen seriously failed to deliver. And thinking this was one of my most anticipated books of 2016. I mean it's a Snow White retelling and I love Snow White. How did this go wrong? What happened there? I didn't have any major problems with the book, it was just boring. I simply didn't look forward to reading more or to knowing what happens next.

Lorelei, the rightful Queen of Ravenspire and a mardushka - a person who has magic in their blood - is set to take back the throne that is hers by birthright. To do that, she has to defeat her aunt Irina, who is also a mardushka and who bespelled everyone in the Kingdom to follow her lead, all while destroying Ravenspire lands with forced use of magic. The neighbouring Kingdom of Eldr has problems of their own. They're fighting the ogres, but nothing seems to work and to defeat them they need a mardushka's magic. When King Kol asks Irina to help his kingdom, she accepts, but in return, he has to kill Lorelei and bring Irina her heart. What Irina doesn't plan is that even if she bewitched Kol to do her bidding, Lorelei might find a way to go around it and not end up dead.

The storyline I quite liked. It reminded me a lot of Snow White and the Huntsman, a movie which I also quite liked. The only thing I had a problem with is the writing and the execution of said storyline. Even though there was plenty of action scenes and fighting, the book still managed to be boring. I don't think I've encountered something like this yet. I think through the most of the book I was just thinking, Oh God, how much more till I finish it. I even thought about DNF-ing it, but I don't really like not finishing the books I read.

The worldbuilding in The Shadow Queen is almost non-existent. We know so little things about this world that I don't even know if I could describe it. We know there are normal people. There are also mardushka's and draconi - people with two hearts. Normal heart and a dragon heart - and yes, they can shift to dragons and this is really cool. Ogres are mentioned just a few times, but I don't think I fully understand them. Also, near the end of the book, fey were also mentioned. But just mentioned. There's nothing about that. See - now you know absolutely everything about this world, so yeah, I'd say the worldbuilding really needs working on in the next book.

I haven't given much thought to the characters. They were forgettable and there was not much character development. Lorelei is this fierce girl who wants to take over the throne. Kol is a lost boy who ended up being King and is now trying to save his Kingdom. Irina is this evil queen. Gabril, a former guard, who is now Lorelei's caretaker, has pretty much no role. And Leo, Lorelei's cute little brother is the only character I actually liked, but yeah. As for the romance, I guess I liked it to some extent. I liked the connection between Lorelei and Kol, but like with the rest of the book, there wasn't anything memorable about it.

The fact that I didn't enjoy The Shadow Queen doesn't mean that you won't. Everything stated here are just my personal feelings how I felt about the book. I know that a lot of other people quite enjoyed the book, so maybe you will too. You will probably enjoy this book if you liked Graceling by Kristin Cashore. I will probably be reading the next book in the series if it's just a companion book set in the same world. If it has the same characters, I'll have to think if I'm going to read the next one.

Hannah Cho and Nick Cooper have been best friends since 8th grade. They talk for hours on the phone, regularly shower each other with presents, and know everything there is to know about one another.

There's just one problem: Hannah and Nick have never actually met.

Hannah has spent her entire life doing what she's supposed to, but when her senior year spring break plans get ruined by a rule-breaker, she decides to break a rule or two herself. She impulsively decides to road trip to Vegas, her older sister and BFF in tow, to surprise Nick and finally declare her more-than-friend feelings for him.

Hannah's romantic gesture backfires when she gets to Vegas and meets Nick's girlfriend, whom he failed to mention. And it turns out his relationship status isn't the only thing he's been lying to her about. Hannah knows the real Nick can't be that different from the online Nick she knows and loves, but now she only has one night in Sin City to figure out what her feelings for Nick really are, all while discovering how life can change when you break the rules every now and then.

I was sold as soon as I read the words: never meet, roadtrip & Vegas. Firstly, I love the books that feature any kind of not your usual romance. Be it forbidden, be it they've never met in real life or anything along those lines, I'll probably want to read it because I'll probably like it. Secondly, it has roadtrip. I LOVE ROADTRIP BOOKS! I love travelling, so I'm always looking to read books that feature some cool places. Which lastly, brings me to Las Vegas. I love Vegas, or at least, the idea of Vegas - I've never actually been there. Immediately, this reminded me of The Secret Diamond Sisters, which was also set in Vegas. It described The Strip and all that Vegas glamour in so many details you had a feeling you are actually there. In Real Life didn't go so deep, but it also captured Vegas in all it's glory.

Hannah, aka Ghost and Nick, are best friends for four years, but they have never actually met. They talk online or on the phone. Hannah sister and Nick's brother have met at a concert and had a great idea that their siblings should also be friends, so Hannah and Nick really did start talking, but they've never met in real life. They haven't really made any plans to meet in person. They did once, but those plans didn't go as planned. Until now, they have never spoken of it again. Nick is having his first big concert with the band, and since it's spring break and Hannah doesn't really have any plans except to chill at the pool, she, her sister and her best friend decide they will roadtrip to Vegas and surprise Nick at his concert. It is a great plan, but some things you cannot plan.

What I really loved about this book - except all those things I already mentioned at the beginning - is how real the relationship between Nick and Hannah really is. It's a popular topic these days, online love. What with Catfish and all. But the truth is, Hannah did trust Nick and she loved him, but there was always this little thing at the back of her mind. Is he telling the truth, can she trust him. And when they finally meet, it is done amazingly. All the little secrets are now out in the open, and they still have to learn how to behave with each other so close. They do know one other, but In Real Life is like a completely new dimension to them. Most of the little quirks and face expressions are foreign to them, and now they have to learn how to process them.

I really liked both Hannah and Nick. Hannah is from a strict Korean family, and all she knew her whole life is study, obey her parents wishes and be good. She never did something she thinks they would disapprove. Until the day, she decided to go see Nick. Even though she knew they were against it, she finally decided to live the life a little and do what she wants. There were times where she frustrated me to no end, like when she had to tell Nick about her feelings, but she never did. I wanted to strangle her, but then again, I understood why she behaved the way she did. She's used to safe, and telling him her feelings wasn't safe zone anymore and she was scared. But then again, I really like the way they ended up together. It was bumpy, there were lies, but at the end, it's what made it real.

To say I really liked this book would be an understatement. I freakin' LOVED IT! This you guys, is Catfish, but with a good ending. You definitely need to add this book to your 2016 TBR list. If you want to read an amazing contemporary novel, that is.

Alien queen Kora has a problem as vast as the endless crimson deserts. She’s the first female ruler of her territory in generations, but her people are rioting and call for her violent younger twin brother to take the throne. Despite assassination attempts, a mounting uprising of nomadic human rebels, and pressure to find a mate to help her rule, she’s determined to protect her people from her brother’s would-be tyrannical rule.

Eros is a rebel soldier hated by aliens and human alike for being a half-blood. Yet that doesn’t stop him from defending his people, at least until Kora’s soldiers raze his camp and take him captive. He’s given an ultimatum: be an enslaved bodyguard to Kora, or be executed for his true identity—a secret kept even from him.

When Kora and Eros are framed for the attempted assassination of her betrothed, they flee. Their only chance of survival is to turn themselves in to the high court, where revealing Eros’s secret could mean a swift public execution. But when they uncover a violent plot to end the human insurgency, they must find a way to work together to prevent genocide.

I am really unsure of how I felt about Beyond the Red. I guess I did like it to some extent, but there were a lot of things that bothered me and I wasn't a huge fan of them. To start it off, I thought this was going to be an EPIC SCI-FI book. I mean it's on another planet and it has ALIENS, so it had to be sci-fi. Yes, I thought it had an epic vibe, but more on the EPIC FANTASY side. Yes, you read that right. Maybe it was just me, but Beyond of Red has kings, queens, slaves, rebels, battles, castles. In my mind, I was imagining it all in kind of Egyptian medieval style (is that even a period? - okay, you know what I mean). Maybe it did have some sci-fi elements like nanites technology and cool and unusual animals, but that's about it.

After the Sepharon aliens under the lead of Kora attack a human desert village, many of the humans end up as slaves. Among them is also Eros, a half-human, half-Sepharon guy, who seems to be despised by the both sides. Since the things aren't perfect in the territory of Elja and the people aren't satisfied with their queen Kora, she makes Eros her personal guard/slave to protect her from her evil brother who wants the throne all for himself. But when someone tries to poison Koras betrothed and they're accused of the crime, they have to flee and maybe face even bigger danger outside.

There are not actually much things that I liked in this book, but one of them was that it was fast paced and I kinda seemed to just fly through it even though I didn't enjoy a lot of things. I just kept turning the pages and hoping it would get better - but it never did. Yes, it was fast paced and there was a lot of action and you just wanted to know what happens next - even though if the things were really predictable - but there was always that little voice in my head that kept whispering all the things that bother me and I just couldn't overlook them.

Beyond the Red is one of those sci-fi/fantasy books that just starts from nowhere and the whole time you're wondering what the heck is happening, who is who, where are they, what is it that they do. I mean we do get a little bit of information, but as I read one thought was constantly on my mind. This book needs more world building, I have just too many questions. And just to fill you in, half of those weren't even answered later in the book.

Another thing - or is it better to say another person - that bothered me to no end was Kora, our queen. She was supposed to be this fierce and strong ruler, or at least, that's how she is described. But all I have seen from Kora through the book is that she was quite the opposite from fierce. Her brother had his way with her and she did nothing to stop him, her people wanted to throw her off the throne, and she did nothing to stop it, she couldn't even utter one word when it came to defending an innocent person. She was the fucking queen, she should have at least tried doing something.

There's one more thing I want to mention. Love. Which also isn't quite the best in Beyond the Red. We have our love interests, Eros and Kora. Everything between them happens so fast (insta, if you're wondering). Almost immediately, they're on first name basis. That wouldn't be so weird if she weren't the alien queen, and he despised half-blood slave. Then they're kissing. And then, everything between them stops altogether. This is where the even-more-insta-love-triangle starts. Kora is to marry one of the royals, who just happens to fall in love with her in just a few days. Talk about weird. I had a feeling the author wanted to accomplish many things, but she just ended up ruining everything. Dear authors, please notice our plea - anything insta is never good.

I wanted to give Beyond the Red 2.5 stars, but since I don't do half stars, I had to round it up. This is where the real struggle comes in. Do I round it up or down? Originally, I gave it 3 stars, but after I slept on it, I decided it is more 2 stars than it is 3. Yes, I did like the plot to some extent. You could maybe even say that I enjoyed the plot, but the rest of the book just felt "meh". There was nothing else worthy of good in this book.

The ending alone was done really abrupt and it's not even sure if there's going to be the next book. I think I saw somewhere that the author said it depends on sales. I guess we'll see, even though I'm not really sure if I am going to be reading the sequel even if there is one. I mean, why would you end your book this open, if you're not even sure there's going to be the next one? That's just kinda mean.

And to answer this, would I recommend this book? Probably not, no.

Hannah Wells has finally found someone who turns her on. But while she might be confident in every other area of her life, she’s carting around a full set of baggage when it comes to sex and seduction. If she wants to get her crush’s attention, she’ll have to step out of her comfort zone and make him take notice... even if it means tutoring the annoying, childish, cocky captain of the hockey team in exchange for a pretend date.

...and it’s going to be oh so good.

All Garrett Graham has ever wanted is to play professional hockey after graduation, but his plummeting GPA is threatening everything he’s worked so hard for. If helping a sarcastic brunette make another guy jealous will help him secure his position on the team, he’s all for it. But when one unexpected kiss leads to the wildest sex of both their lives, it doesn't take long for Garrett to realize that pretend isn't going to cut it. Now he just has to convince Hannah that the man she wants looks a lot like him.

So, I've been seeing this book A LOT lately. I'm probably the last one of my friends to read it, so yeah, since everyone already read it and loved it, I decided I really had to read it then.

I went into reading it meaning to read 3 chapters tops since it was already 12 am and I had to get my beauty sleep, but instead I ended up reading the whole book in one sitting (I finished around 5 am) and looked like a zombie the whole next day. But lesson learned: Don't start reading Elle's books if you don't have time to finish them in one sitting. That's just how amazing I thought this book was.

When Hannah gets an A in one of her exams, she doesn't even realize how that one grade is going to change her life. Enter Garrett. He failed the same exam and wants Hannah to tutor him, and in exchange he'll help her make a guy she likes jealous. But, while tutoring Garrett, they discover there's an undeniable attraction between the two, but will they act on it? Or will Hannah continue to persuade the guy she likes?

The plot itself isn't what's best in this book. Actually, it is full of standard things you'll find in almost every New Adult book. We have a hot jock who plays some kind of popular sport for college, we have the kinda shy nerd girl who's not that noticeable and they fall in love. Of course, they both have some kind of troubled past like abuse or rape. We even have the pretend boyfriend and tutor turned girlfriend thing going on, but not even all those cliche things could do nothing on how much I loved the book!

You see, the real gem in this book are its characters. I just LOVED Garrett !!! He entered my list of book boyfriends as #1 like a champion, and that says a lot since there are so many guys from the bookish worlds that I love. He's just so real, and that's what I love most about him. I could picture him clearly like a normal person and not just some figment of my imagination. He's a player, but he's also the sweetest, cutest and most dedicated person. He'll always say or do the right thing. And before you know it, you just desperately wish you're able to go online and just purchase one of Garrett's for yourself.

The romance between Garrett and Hannah was just right kind of slow-burning, keeps-you-wanting-more, do-it-already kind of romance. In other words, perfect. The chemistry between them, their constant bickering and how much stubborn both of them were, are my absolute favorite things. I really liked the pacing too. It was just the right amount of excitingness, hotness and everything else overall.

If you are one of those few people who still haven't read The Deal, you should really think about doing so. Especially so if you liked All Lined Up by Cora Carmack or The Edge of Never by J.A. Redmerski. One thing is for sure. From now on I have Elle Kennedy on my radar, and I'll be watching for new releases very closely, as well as reading her other NA books.
Maas, blending Beauty and the Beast with faerie lore.

When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she only knows about from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal, but Tamlin—one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled their world.

As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient, wicked shadow grows over the faerie lands, and Feyre must find a way to stop it... or doom Tamlin—and his world—forever.

Perfect for fans of Kristin Cashore and George R. R. Martin, this first book in a sexy and action-packed new series is impossible to put down!

I love a good fantasy novel, and this being one written by Sarah J. Maas is a must read for me this spring. Plus, it's also a Beauty and the Beast retelling, so it better be good!

Brimming with heartfelt relationships and authentic high-school dynamics The Start of Me and You proves that it’s never too late for second chances.

It’s been a year since it happened—when Paige Hancock’s first boyfriend died in an accident. After shutting out the world for two years, Paige is finally ready for a second chance at high school . . . and she has a plan. First: Get her old crush, Ryan Chase, to date her—the perfect way to convince everyone she’s back to normal. Next: Join a club—simple, it’s high school after all. But when Ryan’s sweet, nerdy cousin, Max, moves to town and recruits Paige for the Quiz Bowl team (of all things!) her perfect plan is thrown for a serious loop. Will Paige be able to face her fears and finally open herself up to the life she was meant to live?

I loved Emery's debut book Open Road Summer, so I am really excited to read The Start of Me and You this spring. It's a contemporary book with a cute romance, I guess it's a perfect warm-up for the summer!
Has Naila’s fate been written in the stars? Or can she still make her own destiny?

Naila’s conservative immigrant parents have always said the same thing: She may choose what to study, how to wear her hair, and what to be when she grows up—but they will choose her husband. Following their cultural tradition, they will plan an arranged marriage for her. And until then, dating—even friendship with a boy—is forbidden. When Naila breaks their rule by falling in love with Saif, her parents are livid. Convinced she has forgotten who she truly is, they travel to Pakistan to visit relatives and explore their roots. But Naila’s vacation turns into a nightmare when she learns that plans have changed—her parents have found her a husband and they want her to marry him, now! Despite her greatest efforts, Naila is aghast to find herself cut off from everything and everyone she once knew. Her only hope of escape is Saif . . . if he can find her before it’s too late.

This one seems like it'll be an emotional rollercoaster. It deals with arranged marriage and conservative parents and I'm really curious to see how it'll turn out.

Your greatest enemy isn't what you fight, but what you fear.

Elizabeth Grey is one of the king's best witch hunters, devoted to rooting out witchcraft and doling out justice. But when she's accused of being a witch herself, Elizabeth is arrested and sentenced to burn at the stake.

Salvation comes from a man she thought was her enemy. Nicholas Perevil, the most powerful and dangerous wizard in the kingdom, offers her a deal: he will save her from execution if she can break the deadly curse that's been laid upon him.

But Nicholas and his followers know nothing of Elizabeth's witch hunting past--if they find out, the stake will be the least of her worries. And as she's thrust into the magical world of witches, ghosts, pirates, and one all-too-handsome healer, Elizabeth is forced to redefine her ideas of right and wrong, of friends and enemies, and of love and hate.

Virginia Boecker weaves a riveting tale of magic, betrayal, and sacrifice in this unforgettable fantasy debut.

Here's another fantasy book on my TBR this spring. I want to read this one because it deals with magic and a lot of paranormal creatures, and it's described as a mix of Graceling/Game of Thrones, so fingers crossed I like it!
As she learns to deal with her past loves face to face, Lara Jean discovers that something good may come out of these letters after all.

She is a princess. When the Indigo Kingdom conquered her homeland, Wilhelmina and other orphaned children of nobility were taken to Skyvale, the Indigo Kingdom’s capital. Ten years later, they are the Ospreys, experts at stealth and theft. With them, Wilhelmina means to take back her throne.

She is a spy. Wil and her best friend, Melanie, infiltrate Skyvale Palace to study their foes. They assume the identities of nobles from a wraith-fallen kingdom, but enemies fill the palace, and Melanie’s behavior grows suspicious. With Osprey missions becoming increasingly dangerous and their leader more unstable, Wil can’t trust anyone.

She is a threat. Wraith is the toxic by-product of magic, and for a century using magic has been forbidden. Still the wraith pours across the continent, reshaping the land and animals into fresh horrors. Soon it will reach the Indigo Kingdom. Wilhelmina’s magic might be the key to stopping the wraith, but if the vigilante Black Knife discovers Wil’s magic, she will vanish like all the others.
Jodi Meadows introduces a vivid new fantasy full of intrigue, romance, dangerous magic, and one girl’s battle to reclaim her place in the world.
Tired of marrying off their daughters to the highest bidder and determined to finally make marriage fair, the women who form the country of Koyanagar have instituted a series of tests so that every boy has the chance to win a wife.

Sudasa doesn’t want to be a wife, and Contestant Five, a boy forced to compete in the test to become her husband, has other plans as well. Sudasa’s family wants nothing more than for their daughter to do the right thing and pick a husband who will keep her comfortable—and caged. Five’s family wants him to escape by failing the tests. As the tests advance, Sudasa and Five thwart each other at every turn until they slowly realize that they just might want the same thing.

This beautiful, unique novel is told from alternating points of view—Sudasa’s in verse and Contestant Five’s in prose—allowing readers to experience both characters’ pain and their brave struggle for hope.

I don't read as much dystopia as I used to, but this one sounds really amazing so I had to include it on my Spring TBR. It's set in India (how cool is that?) and there's 5 boys for every girl. It seems like an interesting concept, so we'll see.
Two peas in a pod.
Until . . . they weren’t anymore.

When her best friend Meg drinks a bottle of industrial-strength cleaner alone in a motel room, Cody is understandably shocked and devastated. She and Meg shared everything—so how was there no warning? But when Cody travels to Meg’s college town to pack up the belongings left behind, she discovers that there’s a lot that Meg never told her. About her old roommates, the sort of people Cody never would have met in her dead-end small town in Washington. About Ben McAllister, the boy with a guitar and a sneer, who broke Meg’s heart. And about an encrypted computer file that Cody can’t open—until she does, and suddenly everything Cody thought she knew about her best friend’s death gets thrown into question.

I Was Here is Gayle Forman at her finest, a taut, emotional, and ultimately redemptive story about redefining the meaning of family and finding a way to move forward even in the face of unspeakable loss.

I LOVE Gayle's books, so this one I'll definitely have to read soon! I think it's going to be an emotional read, like her other books, so I can't wait to find out how it is.

In a land ruled by a murderous boy-king, each dawn brings heartache to a new family. Khalid, the eighteen-year-old Caliph of Khorasan, is a monster. Each night he takes a new bride only to have a silk cord wrapped around her throat come morning. When sixteen-year-old Shahrzad's dearest friend falls victim to Khalid, Shahrzad vows vengeance and volunteers to be his next bride. Shahrzad is determined not only to stay alive, but to end the caliph's reign of terror once and for all.

Night after night, Shahrzad beguiles Khalid, weaving stories that enchant, ensuring her survival, though she knows each dawn could be her last. But something she never expected begins to happen: Khalid is nothing like what she'd imagined him to be. This monster is a boy with a tormented heart. Incredibly, Shahrzad finds herself falling in love. How is this possible? It's an unforgivable betrayal. Still, Shahrzad has come to understand all is not as it seems in this palace of marble and stone. She resolves to uncover whatever secrets lurk and, despite her love, be ready to take Khalid's life as retribution for the many lives he's stolen. Can their love survive this world of stories and secrets?

Inspired by A Thousand and One Nights, The Wrath and the Dawn is a sumptuous and enthralling read from beginning to end.

This one is a retelling of A Thousand and One Nights and I really can't wait for it to come out so I can read it! I'm really curious to see Renee's take on this epic love story!
But after graduation, the only thing standing between straightedge Skylar and art school are three minimum-wage months of summer. Skylar can taste the freedom—that is, until her mother loses her job and everything starts coming apart. Torn between her dreams and the people she loves, Skylar realizes everything she’s ever worked for is on the line.

Nineteen-year-old Josh Mitchell had a different ticket out of Creek View: the Marines. But after his leg is blown off in Afghanistan, he returns home, a shell of the cocksure boy he used to be. What brings Skylar and Josh together is working at the Paradise—a quirky motel off California’s dusty Highway 99. Despite their differences, their shared isolation turns into an unexpected friendship and soon, something deeper.

This is another one of those cute romantic books that I like so much, so of course, it had to make it on the list, plus everyone seems to like it, which makes it even more exciting!
It is in this brutal world, inspired by ancient Rome, that Laia lives with her grandparents and older brother. The family ekes out an existence in the Empire’s impoverished backstreets. They do not challenge the Empire. They’ve seen what happens to those who do.
There, Laia meets Elias, the school’s finest soldier—and secretly, its most unwilling. Elias wants only to be free of the tyranny he’s being trained to enforce. He and Laia will soon realize that their destinies are intertwined—and that their choices will change the fate of the Empire itself.
And when they pair up on a project to discover the “natural wonders” of their state, both Finch and Violet make more important discoveries: It’s only with Violet that Finch can be himself—a weird, funny, live-out-loud guy who’s not such a freak after all. And it’s only with Finch that Violet can forget to count away the days and start living them. But as Violet’s world grows, Finch’s begins to shrink.
A small group of survivors eventually banded together, but only after more conflict over which family would govern the new nation. The Westfalls lost. Fifty years later, peace and control are maintained by marrying the daughters of the losing side to the sons of the winning group in a yearly ritual.

This year, it is my turn.

My name is Ivy Westfall, and my mission is simple: to kill the president’s son—my soon-to-be husband—and restore the Westfall family to power.

But Bishop Lattimer is either a very skilled actor or he’s not the cruel, heartless boy my family warned me to expect. He might even be the one person in this world who truly understands me. But there is no escape from my fate. I am the only one who can restore the Westfall legacy.

Because Bishop must die. And I must be the one to kill him…

Every time I see a dystopia book, I'm kind of sceptic to read it because they all have so similar concept and I can't help but feel that I've already read something alike. I'm happy to say that it wasn't the case with The Book of Ivy. I was actually pleasantly surprised with its concept and its originality, even though it had some dystopia stereotypes. I ended up LOVING the book! Though, I think that a lot of my doubts were because of the cover. I know I shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but I can't help it. It's the first thing I notice about the book, and this cover just isn't something that would make me want to read the book. Entangled people, please re-design this cover and make a better one that would do the book justice.

After a nuclear war, two families, Westfall and Lattimer, ended up fighting for the power. Lattimers were the winners, while the Wesfalls lost. To ensure the peace between the two sides of the country, they decided to arrange marriages for their children. All girls from the loosing side should marry a guy from the winning side, and the girls from winning side should marry a guy from the loosing side. This year it is time for Ivy Westfall to marry, and none other but the son of the president, Bishop Lattimer. Unhappy with the Lattimers rule, Westfalls conspire to dethrone Lattimers, and Ivy has an important task in the mission. To kill Bishop Lattimore, her future husband. But is her family right? And, will she be able to do it?

Ivy was the kind of character who I was wary about at first, but as the book went on, I slowly began to like her. At first, she seemed cold and like she had no brain of her own. She was following whatever her family said to her and never questioned it, but later, when she married Bishop and started to see that not everything her family tells her is true, she started to question their intentions, she started thinking about it, and it's her sense of morality that made me like her in the end.

"It's doubtly important that we think for ourselves. We're not our parents. We don't have to agree with everything they stand for."

It's completely different story with Bishop. I fell in love with him straight away. I could see that he would be a good guy and I was praying Ivy would notice it too. I loved how they slowly built their friendship and trust in each other. I loved how invested Bishop was in knowing Ivy, and I loved how their romance progressed. It was the right kind of slow-burning romance.

"If I had to get married, I wanted to marry someone who I was interested in knowing. You're easy to read, Ivy, but the whole book of you is complicated. That's why I wanted you instead of your sister."

For the end, the only thing I have left to say is that you will not regret reading The Book of Ivy. Even if you're not a fan of dystopia books, I'm sure you'll fall in love with this amazing book and it'll make you flip the pages so fast you won't even notice that you read the whole thing in one go. But beware, after that ending you'll wish the next one to come out right away!
Even her dog ate gourmet. Then one day, Darcy’s car is repossessed from the parking lot of her elite private school. As her father’s business hit the skids, Dad didn’t just skip town, he bailed on his family.

Fortunately, Darcy’s uncle owns a thrift shop where she can hide out from the world. There’s also Lucas, the wickedly hot fix-it guy she can’t stop crushing on, even if she’s not sure they’ll ever get out of the friend zone.

But it’s here among the colorful characters of her uncle’s world that Darcy begins to see something more in herself...if she has the courage to follow it.

When I started reading How (Not) to Fall in Love I wanted some cute and fluffy teenage romance story. And that's exactly what I got, it just took a little different route than I have imagined in my head. The title of this book is a bit misleading, yes. You'd expect it to focus on romance, but in reality, this book focuses on family, trust, growing up and learning how to deal with new life. The romance is just a welcomed bonus.

All the trouble starts when Darcy's car gets repossessed from the schools parking lot, and Darcy then learns that her father took away leaving her family broke. With no income and being threatened to lose their home, Darcy has no choice but to accept her uncle's invitation to visit him in his shop and hope that he'll be able to help her and her mother somehow. While he can't help them financially, his company means Darcy a great deal, plus he has a really hot worker Lucas and Darcy can't help herself but fancy him.

Darcy's character really surprised me. I didn't expect her to be as strong as she was, and I definitely didn't expect her to deal with everything as she did. At the beginning of the book, I didn't exactly think she would be this huge spoiled brat, but I didn't think she would be as mature and collected as she was. You'd expect from someone who comes from a background like hers to watch down on everyone, but she was perfectly normal, and I really liked that about her.

Everyone else was really likable too. I especially have a soft spot for Darcy's uncle, and Lucas too. Yeah, let's not forget about Lucas. He was your typical sweet guy who looks like a supermodel and can fix pretty much anything he touches. Though a bit cliché, I ended really liking him. The romance was sweet and slow-building. That's probably a reason why I enjoyed it so much too. It progresses from a very good friendship to something more, and that's usually how I like my romances to be.

The only thing that bugged me in this book is Tri Ty, or Darcy's dad and the story that revolved around him. He became a millionaire on Harvest. It's a program used to motivate people not to give up. Maybe Darcy's dad did build a fortune on that, but for me the idea of motivating someone using the comparison of harvesting or planting plants was actually a little laughable. I just couldn't take it seriously, nor could I take the character of Tri Ty seriously.

But other than that, How (Not) to Fall in Love is a cute book, perfect for times when you just want to read a book with sweet romance, nice characters and just get away from everything.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm pretty excited about the new book in Fire & Flood trilogy. Even though I wasn't really amazed with Fire & Flood, once again, I have high hopes about Salt & Stone. I am so ready to continue the race and to reunite with Tella (is anyone else in love with her name, or is it just me?). I am also very excited to be able share this nifty little excerpt with you and I hope it'll ease the next two weeks of torture until the Salt & Stone comes out. Also, don't forget to enter the giveaway, courtesy of the amazing Victoria Scott.

In Fire & Flood, Tella Holloway faced a dangerous trek through the jungle and across the desert, all to remain a Contender in the Brimstone Bleed for a chance at obtaining the Cure for her brother. She can't quit--she has to win the race, save Cody, and then fight to make sure the race stops before it can claim any more lives. In the next legs of the race, across the ocean and over mountains, Tella will face frostbite, sharks, avalanche, and twisted new rules in the race.

But what if the danger is deeper than that? How do you know who to trust when everyone's keeping secrets? What do you do when the person you'd relied on most suddenly isn't there for support? How do you weigh one life against another?

The race is coming to an end, and Tella is running out of time, resources, and strength. At the start of the race there were one hundred twenty-two Contenders. As Tella and her remaining friends start the final part of the race, just forty-one are left--and only one can win.

Perfect Couple is #2 in the Superlatives series about seniors at a Florida high school who are selected for their class's superlative categories in the yearbook, and how the labels change the way they view themselves and alter the course of their lives.

Can your heart be put to a popular vote?

As yearbook photographer, Harper is responsible for capturing those candid moments that make high school memorable. But her own life is anything but picture perfect. Her parents' bitter divorce has left her wondering what a loving relationship would look like. And ever since the senior class voted her and star quarterback Brody the “Perfect Couple That Never Was,” her friends have been on her case to ask Brody out.

Brody doesn’t lack in female admirers, but Harper can't see herself with him. He seems confused about why they were matched together, too. They’re total opposites—the last people in the world who would ever be compatible, let alone the “perfect couple.” Yet ever since the class paired the two of them, they've found themselves drawn together--first by curiosity, then by an undeniable bond.

The trouble is, though they're very attracted to each other and both of them admit this, they have a hard time getting along or even communicating clearly. If they’re the perfect couple, this shouldn’t be so difficult! Soon it becomes clear their class was wrong, and they throw in the towel. But after they walk away, both of them feel so changed from making the effort that they can’t forget each other. What if that means this match made in hell is the perfect couple after all?

I was constantly seeing people rave about Jennifer Echols' books, and when I decided to give them a try, starting with Biggest Flirts, I was a bit disappointed. Not in Jennifer's writing, but in the book as a whole. I decided it just wasn't the right book for me, and read Perfect Couple. Well, now I DO KNOW what people are raving about. This book was 336 pages of amazing! I enjoyed every last bit of it and I think I read it in a record time too.

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 5th and runs through Sunday, January 11th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 12 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. - From the Bout of Books team

It was decided that this time there will be no official goals link up, but I would still like to post my goals and to keep you updated on my progress. I will be maintaining everything in this post, and updating it regularly.
I have had a little longer break over the holidays, but now I'm back and ready to continue! I will start off this year by commenting the previous one, and participating in 2014 End of Year Book Survey hosted by Jamie @ Perpetual Page Turner.

Number Of Books You Read: 75
Number of Re-Reads: none - I don't really like wasting my time on re-reads when there's so much other books I still haven't read.
Genre You Read The Most From: By looking through my read books on my Goodreads Reading Challenge, it appears I've read most Contemporary Romance books, followed by Dystopian and Paranormal books.
1. Best Book You Read In 2014?
I really, really loved Stolen Songbird by Danielle L. Jensen probably because it was such an unique concept, and I have never read a book quite like that. If you want to see some other books I really enjoyed, you can see here my Top Ten Books in 2014.Read more »Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00502010969728469863noreply@blogger.com3
